This is us<\/h2>

Founder Rieneke<\/b> studied psychology because she wanted to know why people do what they do and how you can influence that in a positive way. But the more she learned, the more she realized she wanted to create something that allowed her to reach people directly. Something you could see, feel, and experience. That led her to game design, and she therefore founded Bleep Cares. Because what if you could use the principles of play and experience at the moments when people need them most? <\/p>

Joining her is Mariette<\/b>, a former nurse who worked at the GP out-of-hours service for years. She knows what it is like to stand next to a frightened child, or next to a parent watching helplessly. She knows how busy healthcare professionals are, and what a difference it makes when a patient relaxes and participates for a moment. She brings that practical experience to everything Bleep Cares develops. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Comfort care as a starting point<\/b><\/h2>

We believe in comfort care: care where the patient’s well-being is central, even in the small moments. Not as an extra, but as part of good treatment. Our products align directly with this. <\/p>

We focus on three things:<\/p>

Shifting focus<\/b> so that pain, anxiety, or boredom is not the only thing a patient thinks about. An underwater world on the wall does more than you expect.
Guided play<\/b> where play is not just a pastime, but a consciously used tool to guide children through tense or unpleasant moments.
Emotional comfort<\/b> for both the child and the parent. Because when a child feels safe, the parent feels calmer. And a calm parent helps the child. <\/p>

Healthcare professionals are our partners in this. Our products are designed to support their work, not complicate it. <\/p>

Those small moments drive us. The child who becomes immersed in the wallpaper. The parent who can contribute something together with the child. The patient who walks into the hallway curiously despite the pain. <\/p>
