Experience routes for Recovery and Reactivation

The experience routes always begin with a news article that appears on a phone or tablet. This article invites patients to help solve a problem or collect visual material for the newspaper. The article can be read or listened to in Dutch.

There are four routes available, each with five separate segments. The app tailors the exercises based on the patient’s profile. For patients with limited mobility, simpler exercises are offered nearby, while patients with greater mobility can choose from multiple exercises per day.

Each route leads to a section of the wall where the patient scans the wall to start the activity. The activities are designed to make it easy to achieve a positive result, even for people with limited digital skills. This makes our experience routes accessible and effective for everyone, and contributes to a positive approach to engagement.

Walking without feeling like that’s the goal

With our innovative “Walk with Me” wallpaper, patients can enjoy walking without it feeling like a rehabilitation exercise. This AR wallpaper is specifically designed to promote postoperative activation and mobilization. For people in long-term care facilities who do not get enough exercise, the immersive walking routes are also a useful tool to help them become more active.

“Walk with Me” offers functional walking training through AR, allowing patients to follow various walking routes. These routes are designed to encourage patients in care facilities to be active and prevent immobility. The interactive tasks on the wallpaper make the walks engaging and challenging, helping patients stay motivated to move.

Our post-surgery exercise therapy uses augmented reality to enhance the rehabilitation experience. Patients are encouraged to participate in postoperative activities that not only support physical recovery but are also mentally stimulating. This helps prevent immobility and promotes a faster recovery after surgery.

By giving patients the opportunity to walk and explore without pressure, we contribute to a comfortable and successful recovery process.
